Flashing Text and Banners

This site has lots of easy to make flashing text, banners and buttons to add to your webpage. Choose the banner you want, edit the text and click "Generate Animation". When it reloads the page click on the text in the "Easy" box (it will highlight the text) then right click on it and click "copy", Go to your webpage, click on the spot where you want it to be, then click on "View HTML" it will open to a new window, right click and say paste, click on "apply" and "OK".  Nothing will show up in your box, but when you go to the actual webpage and reload it, your flashing text will be there.

Skype an Author!

This is exciting! The mission of the Skype an Author Network is to provide K-12 teachers and librarians with a way to connect authors, books, and young readers through virtual visits. Wouldn't it be great to invite authors into your classroom or library to video chat with students before, during, and/or after reading their books?   ALSO!
